Dr. Rajesh Taneja is one of India's foremost urologists and uro-oncological surgeons, a pioneer of robotic urological surgery whose 38-year career at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi has established him as a nationally and internationally recognised leader in the surgical management of urological cancers and complex reconstructive urology. Dr. Taneja completed his MBBS, MS in General Surgery and the specialist MCh qualification in Urology – one of India's most competitive and technically demanding surgical subspecialties. His mastery of open, laparoscopic and robotic urological surgery has evolved across four decades of high-volume practice, with a particular focus on oncological surgery for prostate, bladder and kidney cancers.
